According to national statistics, 14,000 people are affected by water damage every day.Beagle Services installs automatic water shutoff valves and sensors to reduce the risk of water damage and loss. Last week in Arizona, Beagle not only installed a new system in a client's home, but also detected and resolved a long-standing water damage issue before leaving the property! This story is just one example of why Beagle is the nation's top trusted water security partner.

Every installation is as unique as the property and client being served. This particular client was referred to Beagle by her insurance carrier after unfortunately experiencing a water damage claim.

What happened.

Beagle’s expert was installing a water sensor inside a kitchen cabinet and found a long-standing leak coming from a reverse-osmosis system! Beagle tested the drinking water filtration system and found the source of the leak in a failed coupling.

The hidden leak had resulted in some water damage to the cabinetry. The cabinet was riddled with ridges and signs of decay, which Beagle showed the homeowner, to educate them on what water damage can look like and how they can look out for signs like this in the future. Beagle cleaned up the water mess in the surrounding area, and finished setting up the water sensor that will continuously monitor the area for new leaks should the system fail again.

With the new sensor installed, the cabinet is now protected. If a leak starts in this area, the sensor will alarm upon touching water and send a message directly to the homeowner’s smartphone. The sensor can also communicate with the property’s automatic water shutoff valve installed on the main water line to shut off all water entering the home. The automatic shutoff feature prevents water from continuing, which would likely result in catastrophic water loss, damage, and potentially a hefty insurance claims process.

At the end of the service, the customer decided to link the property’s devices to Watchdog, Beagle’s central monitored alarm. Watchdog provides 24/7 active alert monitoring with a list of year-long benefits and also may qualify homeowners for additional savings towards their annual homeowners insurance premium rates. In the future, when this homeowner gets an alert, she can schedule service easily with Beagle to fix the leak or plumbing issue detected. Watchdog is always on guard, providing an additional layer of protection and continued support from Beagle Services - your trusted water security partner.
